Odin Man Arrested After Allegedly Pointing Gun at Auto Repair Employee

June 18, 2016

A 32-year-old Odin man has been arrested for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after allegedly pointing a gun at an employee of Rob’s Custom Auto Repair on Green Street Road in rural Centralia.   Police say it apparently was part of a domestic dispute.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Jessie Wiese of Westline Road and another man rode up the business on four wheelers.  They allegedly cut donuts in the parking lot and drove around the yard before pointing the gun at one of the employees.   Wiese allegedly threatened to kill the worker if he saw a particular woman again.

After the worker ran inside the building through a large overhead door, the two gave chase on their ATV’s, but were blocked getting into another door by auto parts.

They then drove off down Green Street after one of the other employees called 9-1-1.

Wiese was located later by Centralia Police, who turned him over to sheriff’s deputies for questioning.

Wiese was able to post $150 bond and was released pending review of the charges by the State’s Attorneys office.
