Two Injured in Salem Accident

Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash at North College and Allmon Street in Salem Thursday afternoon.

Salem Police say a car driven by 87-year-old Jean Adams of North Lincoln in Salem pulled from the stop sign on Allmon Street in front of a northbound car on College driven by 16-year-old Britney Speaks of West Allmon Street in Salem. 

Speaks was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.  A passenger in her car, 61-year-old Deanne Rowcliff of East Church in Salem, also went to the hospital for treatment.  Adams refused treatment.   She was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop intersection.

The crash occurred at 3:16 Thursday afternoon.
