Two Face New Felony Charges Following Weekend Arrests

August 3, 2016

Two people face new felony charges in Marion County Court following weekend arrests.

Bond was set at $30,000 for 28-year-old Bailee Lyday of Lee Lane in Centralia after she was formally charged with possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a peace officer.   If she is convicted on the methamphetamine charge, any sentence will have to be consecutive to another pending felony charge against her.  Lyday had the public defender appointed to represent her.

Bond was set at $10,000 for 35-year-old Aaron Wolfe of Glen Carbon after he was charged with felony obstructing justice and resisting arrest.  Wolfe is accused of attempting to eat suspected heroin as Centralia Police were trying to collect evidence following a traffic stop.  Wolfe indicated he would hire his own attorney.
