August 10, 2016

Rebecca Bigham

A 26-year-old Aurora, Colorado woman was formally charged in Jefferson County Court on Tuesday with four counts of aggravated battery and two misdemeanor counts of aggravated assault in connection with a Saturday night disturbance at the Mt. Vernon Walmart Store.   Bond was earlier set at $100,000 for Rebecca Bigham.

One of the aggravated battery charges claims Bigham struck a woman in the face with her fist.  Another count claims Bigham touched the arm of another person in the store when she threw a piece of computer equipment.  The two other aggravated battery charges are for allegedly making contact with the back of a juvenile with a knife.

The aggravated assault charges claim Bigham threatened two other persons in the store while holding a deadly weapon, a knife, pacing them in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery.

If released on bond, Bigham was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims or the Mt. Vernon Walmart Store.
