August 10, 2016

Bond has been set at $100,000 for a 32-year-old Odin man who was been charged in Marion County Court Monday with residential burglary and unlawful possession of ammunition in connection with a June burglary at the Tony Banks home on the Soper Road in rural Odin.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Danny Korzenewski of Nancy Lane in Salem was arrested on Friday in connection with his role in the case.

32-year-old Jessie Wiese of Westline Road in rural Odin was arrested earlier in connection with the breakin after a search warrant was executed on his home last month.  Items taken from the Banks home were allegedly found.  Wiese also faces methamphetamine related charges as a result of what deputies found during the search.

Deputies say an undisclosed amount of cash and guns were stolen from the Banks’ home after forceable entry was made.

Korzenewski had the public defender appointed to represent him.
