Centralia Man Gets 18 Months for Unlawful Restraint

August 11, 2016

A 27-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for unlawful restraint.

Richard Potter of Hester Street admitted to preventing Rachelle Emmert from leaving her residence briefly during a March incident.  A felony domestic battery charge was dropped as part of the plea.

The sentence will run concurrently with a two year prison term handed down last August for possession of a controlled substance.
