Police Beat for Wednesday, August 10th, 2016

A 53-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for domestic battery and violation of an order of protection. Gregory Martin of East Noleman is accused of going to the Rhonda Heinzmann home in violation of the order of protection and reportedly began striking Heinzmann and refused to stop.  

A 21-year-old Centralia woman was arrested by Centralia Police for possession of a controlled substance and possession of narcotic instruments.  Kellie Whitehouse of Marilyn Drive was a back seat passenger when police made a traffic stop.  They allegedly found a hypodermic needle and a rock of heroin in a pouch in the back of the driver’s seat.   

42-year-old Dawn Ferguson of Lakeshore Drive in Salem is being held on a probation violation.

40-year-old Bonnie McDaneld of South Poplar in Centralia posted $150 bond and was released after being arrested for driving on a suspended license.
