Patoka Man Arrested For Leaving Scene of Injury Accident

August 28, 2016

A 23-year-old Patoka man was arrested for leaving the scene of an injury accident and illegal transportation of liquor after his step-brother was reportedly left unresponsive following an ATV accident.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Dylan Adams of South Elm crashed into a vehicle on Gerrish Road near Pope Road north of Sandoval early Saturday morning. The ATV went into the ditch after impact. Adams’ step brother, Brandin Gambill, was reportedly thrown from the ATV and was found unresponsive by the first on the scene.

Adams reportedly went home after the wreck and was arrested when he came back to the scene with another man to haul off the damaged ATV.

Adams was taken to the Marion County Jail where he remained on Saturday.

The crash occurred at 12:45 Saturday morning.
