A 32-year-old Kinmundy man was arrested for driving under the influence following a single vehicle crash at the Oak Grove and Bilek Road in rural Alma early Wednesday morning. Dirk Jones of Jones Road posted $100 bond and was released from the Marion County Jail. Sheriff’s Deputies say he was not hurt in the crash.

A 35-year-old Salem man was given a notice to appear in court for criminal damage to property after allegedly throwing a rock through a window at DJ’s Party Supply at West Main and Illinois early Wednesday morning. Salem Police say a witness had reported the incident just after midnight. Timothy Fletcher of Glenwood Acres was arrested when located walking in the area a short time later.

Three people brought to the Marion County Jail posted bond and were released. 47-year-old Dennis Thacker of Country Club Estates in Salem was arrested by State Police on an outstanding Lawrence County warrant. He posted $5,000 bond. 34-year-old Joshua Garland of Maplewood Drive in Salem posted $100 bond after being arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. 29-year-old Beau Morton of Morton Road in Kell posted $500 bond and was released after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a Marion County traffic warrant.
