Centralia’s Outgoing Police Chief To Be Honored at Friday Reception

September 28, 2016

Centralia Mayor Tom Ashby is encouraging everyone to come to Centralia City Hall Friday to thank retiring Centralia Police Chief Doug Krutsinger for his service.

Ashby says a reception has been set from ten to noon to thank Krutsinger for all of his work with the city over the years.

“He served in four different decades as a city councilman, so I think you can really truly say that he is a public servant. He was also involved with the police all those years as well,” said Ashby.

Friday is Krutsinger’s final day on the job. He’ll be replaced by Lieutenant Brian Atchison as interim chief as the city searches both inside and out of the department for a new police chief.
