Police Beat for Thursday, September 29th, 2016

A 40-year-old Carlyle man has been arrested on multiple drug and traffic related charges after Centralia Police initially saw him holding his cell phone up in one of his hands while driving a motorcycle. While patting down Casey Ness of Franklin Street in Carlyle, police say they allegedly found a one hitter box and pipe along with a key box that contained a white powdery substance that field tested as ICE methamphetamine. Ness was also charged with improper use of a cell phone, violation of license classification, and operating an uninsured vehicle.

34-year-old Jaime Orrell of Strafford, Missouri posted $150 bond after being arrested by Sandoval Police for criminal damage to property.

24-year-old Eric Williams of West Olive in Salem posted $500 bond and was released on a Marion County DUI warrant.

37-year-old Brent Etheridge of South Norton in Odin was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies for a probation violation. He was released after posting $150 bond.
