Police Beat for Friday, October 21st, 2016

A 35-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for aggravated domestic battery and resisting arrest in connection with an October 5th incident involving his estranged wife. Centralia Police say Jennifer Kaminski had returned home to find Michael in the residence allegedly taking items belonging to their sons. An argument followed and Jennifer was allegedly pushed and a flat screen TV broken. Michael reportedly pulled a knife and was also threatening to stab Jennifer. Police arrived in time to break up the altercation, but Michael Kaminski ran on foot after emptying his pockets for police. He wasn’t located until Thursday when he was taken into custody.

29-year-old Shane Littleton of South Hickory in Centralia has been arrested for theft. Centralia Police say Littleton allegedly used a debit card to take $80 from his sister’s debit card without permission.

20-year-old Chalin Carpenter of South 21st Street in Mt. Vernon remained in custody Friday after being arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding felony failure to appear warrant for possession of a meth precursor. Bond is set at $5,000.
