October 22, 2016

Bond has been set at $100,000 for a 36-year-old Centralia man who reportedly ran from police after they broke up an altercation at his estranged wife’s home.

Michael Kaminski faces a total of five misdemeanor charges following the October 5th event. He’s charged with domestic battery for allegedly pushing Jennifer Kaminski, aggravated assault for allegedly jabbing a knife at her, and violation of bail bond for making contact with her. A fourth count charges Michael Kaminski with criminal damage to property for allegedly damaging Jennifer’s eyeglasses and TV. The fifth charge is for resisting a peace officer. Michael Kaminski allegedly successfully ran from police after they arrived on the scene to break up the altercation and they had started to have him empty his pockets.

Kaminski remained at large until Wednesday when police located him and took him into custody. He had the public defender appointed to represent him and was once again ordered to have no contact with Jennifer Kaminski.
