Centralia Man Has Bond Set at $250,000 After Alleged Fight With His Father

December 9, 2016

Bond has been set at $250,000 for a 21-year-old Centralia man who was charged in Marion County Court Friday with aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Cody Donoho of State Route 161 was arrested for allegedly attacking his father during an argument at their home. His father, Ronald Donoho, was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of head injuries.

Deputies first learned of the altercation when recieving a 9-1-1 call. No one was talking, but the disturbance could be heard in the background.

Reports indicate the fight escalated when Cody grabbed his father, shoved him against the desk and punched him in the face. When his dad grabbed his son in an attempt to stop the attack, the two reportedly fell to the floor with the father striking his head on a coffee table.

Judge Michael McHaney reported the public defender was appointed to represent Cody Donoho. A preliminary hearing was set for December 20th.

If released on bond, Cody Donoho was ordered to abstain from drugs and alcohol with random testing and ordered to take prescribed medications. He was also told to have no contact with his father.
