Centralia Man Gets 8 Year Prison Term For Rural Odin Burglary

December 15, 2016

A 37-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a June residential burglary at a rural Odin home.

Danny Korzenewski of Brookside Avenue admitted to his role in entering the Tony Banks home on the Soper Road. Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports indicate an undisclosed amount of cash and guns were stolen after forceable entry was made.

As part of the plea agreement, Korzenewski will have to make more than $55-hundred dollars restitution and given credit for 13 days served in jail. A charge of unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon was dropped.

Charges are still pending against a co-defendant, 32-year-old Jessie Wiese of rural Odin.
