Guilty Pleas Entered in Two Marion County Felony Cases

A 23-year-old Salem man has pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen vehicle. Jeremy Tate of West Warmoth admitted to possession the vehicle in April of last year. He was placed on two years probation, ordered to undergo alcohol and drug evaluation and treatment, and to pay court costs. Tate also agreed to testify truthfully against co-defendants.

A 28-year-old Salem man has pleaded guilty to one of two violation of order of protection charges pending against him. Dustin Melton was placed on 30 months probation, ordered to complete 60 days in jail, and given credit for 28 days already served in jail.
