Altercation Between Two Brothers Leads to One Being Arrested

December 28, 2016

Bond has been set at $7,500 for a 29-year-old Sandoval man charged in Marion County Court Tuesday with misdemeanor domestic battery and disorderly conduct following an ongoing problem with his brother.

Michael Deadmond of East Isle is charged with domestic battery for allegedly grabbing Steven Deadmond around the neck. The disorderly conduct charge states Micheal was yelling threats towards his brother.

Sandoval Police had been called to the Deadmond home earlier Monday night for the first complaint Steven made about his brother. At that point, Michael said he would go to bed and there would be no other issues with him acting out. Michael was arrested and taken to jail when police were called back to the home a second time.

Michael Deadmond has the public defender appointed to represent him and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim if released from jail. First appearance with council was set for January 12th.
