Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two teens for illegal consumption of liquor by a minor following a one car minor crash on the Seven Hills Road near Boone Street northwest of Salem overnight. Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the home of the driver, 18-year-old Stone Jackson of Tonti Road in rural Salem, after the car had been pulled out of the ditch and driven home. When a deputy noticed liquor on the breath of Jackson and a 15-year-old male juvenile passenger, both were taken to the Marion County Jail for a breathilizer test that confirmed alcohol in their blood. Jackson remained in custody at the Marion County Jail on Thursday morning, while the juvenile was released to a parent or guardian.

28-year-old Cory Hodge of Mulberry Street in Sandoval was arrested by State Police following a traffic stop for possession of a controlled substance and on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant. He also remained in the Marion County Jail Thursday.

55-year-old Travis Schaubert of West Whitaker in Salem posted $600 bond and was released after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a Marion County small claims warrant.

36-year-old Brock Ochs of Cedar Street in Centralia was arrested by State Police for driving on a suspended or revoked license. Ochs was released after posting $150 bond.
