14-Year-Old Raccoon Grade School Student Loses His Fight Against Chronic Illness

A 14-year-old Salem boy in the eighth grade at Raccoon Grade School has lost his battle of many years fighting chronic illness. Abijah Robert Michael Page died Sunday at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at ten Thursday morning at the Salem Assembly of God Church, with visitation at the church from 5:30 to 8 on Wednesday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with medical expenses and may be left at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem.

His obituary describes Abijah as always smiling and happy, who enjoyed spending time with his friends.
