Marion County Sheriff’s Department Investigates Two Residential Burglaries

February 2, 2017

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two residential burglaries reported Tuesday night.

Kimberly Ball of Medlin Road in Walnut Hill reported she came home around seven Tuesday night after being gone all day and noticed someone had entered her house and took a sound bar and jewelry.

April Stow of the Garfield Road Apartments in Alma told deputies she came home around nine Tuesday night to find someone had entered her home through her son’s window sometime after two pm. She reported two Playstations, a TV, laptop computer and jewelry were stolen. Stow said it appeared the person responsible then exited through the back door. The Marion County canine was called to the scene, but was unsuccessful in tracking down a suspect.
