Three Arrested, Two Injured in Fight Outside Family Dollar Store in Centralia

February 6, 2017

Three juvenile girls have been arrested and two others were injured in a fight outside the Family Dollar Store on North Elm Street Friday night.

Centralia Police say Shandi Croff was approached by a group of girls wanting her to fight when she came out of the Family Dollar store with her mother and father. One of the juveniles reportedly tried to mace Shandi and hit her mother, Shameka Croff. Both were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police have charged two 16-year-old and one 13-year-old Centralia juvenile girls with mob action, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery. The 13-year-old was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The three were all taken to the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Facility in Benton pending their first appearance in court.

Centralia Police say more arrests are possible.
