Five People Injured in Two Vehicle Crash in Centralia

February 9, 2017

Five people were treated for injuries in a two-vehicle crash on the west side of Centralia Tuesday afternoon.

Centralia Police say Terry Miner of Christopher was traveling westbound on McCord Street when he disobeyed the red light at the Brooks Street intersection and was struck by a northbound SUV on Brooks driven by Esther Hall of Dix.

Miner and two passengers in his van, Lillie Miner and Gabe Miner, were all transported from the scene by Lifestar Ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. Two passengers in the Hall SUV, Charles Hall and Delia Hall of Dix, went to St. Mary’s Hospital on their own for treatment. Esther Hall and a third passenger in the Miner vehicle, Ryan Miner, escaped injury.

Centralia Police ticketed Terry Miner for disobeying a traffic control device.

Centralia City Firefighters assisted the victims at the scene.

The crash occurred at 11:34 Tuesday morning.
