Two Centralia Residents Arrested on Drug and Armed Violence Charges

Two Centralia residents have been arrested on multiple drug charges and for armed violence.

23-year-old Rochelle Emmert of Cedar Street and 29-year-old Jordan Heern of South Maple are both being held in the Marion County Jail for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a drug instrument.

Centralia Police say they were alerted to the presence of drug items at Emmert’s home by the U.S. Marshals Service that had gone there Monday to look for a wanted person. Police report finding various pipes and needles in addition to a backpack style bag that contained a package with 66 grams of a substance that field tested as methamphetamine. Police report a loaded revolver was also found in the backpack.

Both Emmert and Heern were taken to the Marion County Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
