March 22, 2017

Two people face felony charges following weekend arrests.

Bond was set at $20,000 for 21-year-old Cornell Hannah of Kaskaskia Avenue in Nashville after he was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer and criminal trespass to property. Hannah is accused of striking a Centralia Police officer on the hand when he was attempting to arrest Hannah for entering the residence of Sabrena Smith of Marion Street in Centralia.

Bond was set at $15,000 for 48-year-old Michelle Sullivan of Norton Road in Sandoval on charges of possession of under five grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies during a traffic stop in Odin after the canine alerted on her vehicle.

Both Hannah and Sullivan had public defenders appointed to represent them. Preliminary hearings were set for April 4th.
