April 3, 2017

A 34-year-old Walnut Hill woman is being held in the Marion County Jail following her Saturday night arrest on drug and retail theft charges. Centralia Police say they were called to the Gas mart on East McCord to a report of a suspicious person. When talking to 34-year-old Alicia Hodge of North Post Oak, they determined she was wanted for questioning in connection with a retail theft last September at the CVS store. A plastic ziplock baggie then fell out of her jacket. Police say it contained six used syringes, two metal spoons, and two metal pipes along with a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine. Hodge was taken to the Marion County Jail for retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

49-year-old Vincent Cassiday of East 5th in Kinmundy was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies for alleged domestic battery.

33-year-old Jerad Huggins of Selmaville Road in Salem was arrested by Salem Police for alleged domestic battery.

21-year-old Laraysheo Johnson of Chicago remained in custody after being arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Vermilion County warrant.

28-year-old Jessie Johnson of Valentine Road in Odin remained in custody after being arrested on a probation violation.
