Police Beat for Tuesday, April 10th, 2017

A 25-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested on multiple charges following a hit and run crash in the 400 block of North Sycamore in Centralia early Sunday morning. Centralia Police say Darleedria Flippen of East Broadway allegedly struck a parked rental car and left the scene. When she was located, Flippen was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a suspended license, on an unrelated theft case in Wamac, and on an outstanding Vermilion County warrant.

27-year-old Taylor Jacklin of Linden Street in Centralia remained in custody Tuesday in lieu of $5,000 bond after being arrested by Centralia Police for failure to appear on a residential burglary case.

49-year-old James Gregg of North Old Centralia Lane in Dix turned himself in on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant for driving on a suspended license. He posted $2,500 bond and was released.

41-year-old Misty Wooden of South Franklin in Salem was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant.

Salem Police are investigating a motor vehicle burglary. Kathy Tucker of North Jackson in Salem reported the keys were taken from her unlocked vehicle on Saturday. She told police nothing else appeared to be missing.
