Centralia Woman Injured in Crash Were Car Rolls Six Times

May 12, 2017

A 33-year-old Centralia woman was injured and arrested after her car ran off U.S. 51 north of Sandoval and barrel rolled six times Tuesday night.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Tina Myers of South Maple Street was traveling northbound on U.S. 51 a quarter mile north of the Ferrydale Road when she ran off the road, traveled 393 feet, where her SUV came back onto the roadway sideways and then overturned six times.

When Sandoval Police and Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived there was no one around the vehicle. Since there was a concern about the occupants being thrown out, fire and police searched the nearby area. Deputies say Myers apparently had gone to one of the vehicles stopped in traffic for the wreck and offered the driver money to take her away. However, she was discovered in the car before it left the scene.

Myers was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. She was ticketed for driving on a revoked license, improper lane usage, and leaving the scene of an accident.
