Police Beat for Friday, May 12th, 2017

A 22-year-old Salem man was arrested Thursday night by Salem Police for alleged aggravated domestic battery and interference in reporting a domestic battery. Brandon Chapman of South Lincoln is accused of choking Alexandria Todd of the same address.

23-year-old Danielle Brown of Allison Street in Centralia has been arrested by Central City Police for felony retail theft. Brown is accused of taking some items she was purchasing at the Dollar General Store out to her car while the rest were being rung up. Police say when she presented a check it was denied. Brown reportedly promised to return the next day and never returned the items taken to her car. She was arrested when located by police Thursday.

24-year-old Justin Burns of South 6th in Centralia was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant.

26-year-old Jamisa Crosby of South Poplar in Centralia posted $150 bond and was released after being arrested by State Police for driving on a suspended license.
