Police Beat for Saturday, May 13th, 2017

A 40-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Odin Police for alleged burglary, misdemeanor theft, and possession of stolen property. Andrew Cranford Junior of Lakewood Drive was taken into custody after some of the stolen items were allegedly tracked down at a salvage yard. He’s being held in the Marion County Jail.

A 41-year-old Patoka woman has been arrested for theft of both water and electric service and on a Marion County family warrant. Misty Podergois of West Jefferson was released after posting $350 bond.

A 24-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail for failure to appear in court on a charge of criminal damage to government supported property. Patrick Shipp of Sadler Street was also arrested on a Centralia city ordinance violation ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond on the outstanding warrant is set at $10,000.
