Police Beat for Sunday, May 14th, 2017

A 51-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail for aggravated domestic battery. Robbie Dabney of Howard Street is accused of allegedly grabbing Stacey Moore of Centralia by the neck during an altercation last month. Moore went to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for the treatment of injuries. Dabney was taken into custody when located by Centralia Police on Saturday.

39-year-old Dennis Schuchman of West Rexford in Centralia was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for motor vehicle theft.

Two others were arrested for driving under the influence. 27-year-old Nicholas Carroll of Green Ridge Road in Alma was arrested by State Police. 27-year-old Harvina Lessa of North Manchester, Indiana, was arrested by Wamac Police for DUI as well as speeding and being unlicensed. Both posted $300 bond and were released.

34-year-old Nicholas Fizer of Shumway was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant. He was released after posting $250.

29-year-old Zared Donoho of George Street in Mt. Vernon was arrested by Odin Police for driving on a suspended license.

Salem Firemen report no damage in a controlled fire that got out of control on property owned by Cheryl Wilson of Sandoval at 2191 Lakeshore Drive on Lake Centralia. The fire burned some old tires, sending up a black cloud of smoke over the lake Saturday afternoon.
