Joseph Morrison was charged Thursday in Marion County Court with Class 3 felony manufacture with the intent to deliver between 30 and 500 grams of cannabis and Class 4 felony possession of between 100 and 500 grams of cannabis.

Following the flyover, Morrison reportedly allowed Marion County Sheriff’s deputies to search his home and yard ultimately explaining an operation in his garage to turn the cannabis into cannabis oil. Deputies reportedly located six cannabis plants outside the home, completed containers of oil in the garage, and two other growing areas in the basement of the home.

Morrison was subsequently transported to the Marion County Jail. He was advised in court Thursday of the charges against him and he indicated he would hire a private attorney.

He’s next scheduled to appear in court June 14 for a preliminary hearing.
