Police Beat for Saturday, June 3rd, 2017

A 26-year-old Odin man was arrested by Salem Police early Saturday morning for violation of the sex offender registration act and being a sex offender living within 500 feet of a park. Police say they came into contact with Curtis Moghadam of Page Road when being called to a disturbance call at a home in the 13-hundred block of North Trenary where the occupants asked that he be removed. Moghadam denied living at the residence.

34-year-old Jedd White of Post Oak Lane in Walnut Hill was arrested early Saturday morning on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant for failure to appear on a possession of meth case, an outstanding traffic warrant, and for driving on a suspended or revoked license. Bond on the felony warrant is set at $15,000.

Kinmundy Police arrested 27-year-old Taylor Robinson of Olympia, Kentucky for felony theft.

32-year-old Jonathan Hiltibital of North Locust in Centralia is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond after being arrested on a failure to appear in court warrant on a theft case.

43-year-old Christopher Woods of South College in Brownstown posted $500 bond after being arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

27-year-old Nicholas Halfacre of North Cedar in Iuka posted $100 bond after being arrested by Salem Police for driving on a suspended or revoked license.
