Salem Police Investigate Vehicle Burglaries and Criminal Damage to Property

Salem Police are investigating two vehicle burglaries and a criminal damage to property complaint in a northwest side neighborhood.

Police report a car owned by Tyson Neff of Lamar Drive was entered with a pair of binoculars and change stolen. Jennifer Knoop of Westport Driver reported CD’s and the vehicle’s registration card were stolen. Marsha Ballard of Westport Drive reported the passenger side window of her car was broken out with a rock that was found on the front seat. Ballard said nothing appeared to have been stolen.

All of the incidents appear to have occurred late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.

Salem Police are also investigating the theft of $100 worth of concrete pins to hold forms in place when laying concrete. They were stolen from Glenwood Acres and are owned by ‘Kip’ Meador of Salem.

So far no arrests have been made in any of the cases.
