Centralia Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges Following Execution of Search Warrant

June 16, 2017

Centralia Police arrested two people on drug delivery charges after executing a search warrant on a home at 12-10 McKee Street in Centralia at noon Thursday.

Anthonette Strowder of the McKee Street address and Roosevelt Cooper-McGee of East Kell were both taken to the Marion County Jail for alleged unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. McGee was also charged with obstructing justice for attempting to destroy evidence. Police say during execution of the search warrant a large amount of cash and drugs were seized.

Centralia Police say the arrests are the result of a different drug investigation from the one that has resulted in the arrest of 14 people so far on outstanding warrants. They expect no more arrests in connection with this investigation.

Centralia Police were assisted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department as well as Central City and Wamac Police.
