Carbondale Police say Malik L. Wright was armed with a handgun and was arguing with another person who is believed to be an adult male acquaintance of the suspect.

As Wright began to leave, he entered the passenger side of a black vehicle that drove away.

At that time, Wright fired several rounds at the man who fled on foot from the area. He has not been identified at this time, but is believed to be injured.

The warrant charges Wright with aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of weapons. His bail has been set at $150,000.

Police say Wright has not been found and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information should contact Carbondale Police at 457-3200.
