Two arrested on drug-related charges at Salem Walmart

MARION COUNTY — Two people are in the Marion County Jail after they were arrested early Wednesday morning in the parking lot of the Salem Walmart on drug-related charges.

According to reports, 25-year-old Cody Bushue, of Centralia, was arrested for alleged possession of a hypodermic syringe after he was questioned by Salem police when he was leaving the store.

Officers had responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot and they found 27-year-old Vanessa Wooden, of Kinmundy, in the vehicle. She was ultimately arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

Both Bushue and Wooden remain in the Marion County Jail.
