Police Beat for Saturday, July 22nd, 2017

A 21-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for felony retail theft. Nathaniel Austin of North Locust was arrested after police matched him to video at the Huck’s store on East Calumet allegedly showing him taking a phone charger.

64-year-old Douglas Davis of West Allmon in Salem was arrested by Salem Police for alleged domestic battery.

Five others were arrested on outstanding warrants.

39-year-old Paul Wright of Hickory Street in Centralia was arrested on an outstanding Marion County warrant for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Marion County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Four others posted bond and were released. 38-year-old Christina Funkhouser of Vincennes, Indiana posted $500 bond and was released on an outstanding Wabash County warrant for driving on a suspended or revoked license. 52-year-old Delbert Mulvaney of East Cherry in Kinmundy was arrested by Kinmundy Police on a warrant issued in a divorce case. He was released after posting $250 bond. 30-year-old Sarah Buchanan of East William in Salem posted $500 bond and was released on a Marion County warrant for failure to appear on a no insurance charge. 25-year-old Dillon Hill of Dieterich posted $500 bond after being arrested by Alma Police on an outstanding Jasper County misdemeanor warrant.
