Two People Injured in I-57 Wreck in Marion County

August 7, 2017

Two Plymouth, Indiana residents were injured in an early Sunday morning single vehicle crash on Interstate 57 north of the Kinmundy exit.

State Police say preliminary investigative details indicate a SUV driven by 38-year-old Michael Arquette traveled onto the right shoulder and struck the bridge end and guard rail prior to leaving the roadway to the right. The vehicle came to rest on the right ditch embankment.

Both Arquette and a passenger in his vehicle, 41-year-old Jay Drudge, were transported to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries.

The crash occurred at 3:58 Sunday morning.
