Police Beat for Thursday, August 10th, 2017

A 38-year-old Salem man remained in the Marion County Jail Monday after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies for violation of an order of protection.

Three others remain in custody on outstanding warrants. 26-year-old Kelly Taylor-Schulte of James Street in Wamac is being held on a Clinton County failure to appear traffic warrant. 45-year-old Christopher Bowen of Orchard Drive in Salem is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond after being arrested by Centralia Police on a failure to appear warrant in a DUI case. 20-year-old Sean Berry of South Cherry in Centralia is being held in lieu of $2,500 bond for failure to appear on a criminal trespass charge.

Two others posted bond on outstanding warrants and were released. 48-year-old Maureen Henson of Kell Road in Kell posted $500 bond after being arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding failure to appear warrant in a possession of methamphetamine case. 27-year-old Christy Johnston of North College in Salem posted $250 bond and was released after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a Marion County failure to appear warrant for driving on a suspended license.
