Centralia Man Charged with Pushing, Striking his Wife

A 43-year-old Centralia man is in the Marion County Jail on charges of alleged domestic battery.  According to Centralia Police reports, John Francis Kimmel of South Walnut in Centralia and his wife Sabrina Kimmel were hosting a party to celebrate seven years of marriage.  Reports say Sabrina Kimmel asked John about his relationship with another woman.  Witnesses told police that John Kimmel then pushed her to the ground several times and struck her in the face.  Centralia Police arrested him and charged him with domestic battery.  He remains in the Marion County Jail.
